Mockorange is a delightfully old-fashioned plant that has unfortunately fallen out of favor, mostly due to its enormous size. Illuminati Tower® mockorange stands to breathe new life into this classic favorite, though, combining a landscape-friendly size with a totally unique space-saving habit. It naturally grows in a very narrow, upright way, each sturdy stem a stack of rugged, deep green leaves that looks like a four-sided tower. In late spring/early summer, hundreds of fragrant white flowers emerge from between the leaves for striking show that truly celebrates the season.Â

The Chinook Sunrise features exotic coral buds that fade to pink blooms, soft waves of colour that evoke the warm winds of a prairie chinook. This is the second addition to Vineland’s 49th Parallel Collection of Roses, a product of Canada’s national rose breeding programme. Roses in the collection are selected on the basis of three main criteria: winter hardiness, black spot tolerance and consumer appeal. Hardy and low maintenance, these are excellent garden and landscape roses.

A must have shrub in any mixed shrub border as this plant has an abundance of good features. Â Small yellow-green flowers appear in late spring followed by medium to dark green foliage all summer. The foliage then turns a brilliant scarlet in fall if planted in full sun. Winter brings small red berries and brown corky-ridged bark for a true four season appeal.
An accent plant but also works in mass plantings or as hedging (To create a hedge, plant 5-7ft apart.).  Prune to maintain size, although not necessary. Can be invasive if not properly maintained.  Highly adaptable but requires well-drained soil.Â

Easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Prefers evenly moist soils. Best flowering occurs in full sun, but plants tolerate part shade. Established plants grow well in a wide range of conditions and have good drought tolerance. Plants have excellent winter hardiness and perform best in cool northern summer climates. Dense, spreading shrub with an abundance of golden blooms throughout The summer. The contrasting bloom/foliage makes it an excellent foundation and border shrub. Pruning should take place early spring before they leaf out.Â
